Viggo is fully exploring the difficulties he has with sharing toys and with some of the transitions he has to deal with in his daily life. A great tool for him in doing so is a children's show on Netflix called "Daniel Tiger". Daniel tiger also has a difficult time sharing and he worries about some of the same stuff that Viggo worries about. In each episode there is a central theme and a song that helps Daniel tiger move through his doubt. Viggo loves singing these catchy tunes at home. Here are some examples of lyrics: "You can take a turn and then you'll get it back", "When you have to go potty STOP and go right away. Flush and wash and be on your way", "See what it is and then you'll feel better".
Some afternoons when I'm really very, very tired Viggo will make sure to push all my buttons until I'm about to really let him have it. At the right moment (and Viggo's timing is impeccable) he will put his hand on my shoulder and sing: "When you feel so mad, that you wanna roar. Take a deep breath (aaaah), and count to four. (this is where he expects me to take a deep breath and count with him). One, two, three, four".
Sometimes I'm already so worked up that it's hard to calm down but most of the time I feel better immediately. And sometimes it just makes me laugh SO much. Viggo is too clever.
