Five years ago we took our bags and moved to Sweden. And now we've returned to the US. No more moving please.
It feels like a very long time since I managed to write anything and we still have lots to do before we feel quite organized. But I thought I'd just let you know that we made it. We're alive.
In the process of moving our diet has gotten seriously mangled. I am struggling to find the right foods. I am spending too much time going to different food stores. Viggo has enjoyed some exceptions from the diet, but each time it has made me feel terrible. But every day I work on bringing the diet back. It's just going to have to take a little time. After all, I am just one person and there is only so much I can handle.
Meanwhile the boys finished their school year here on Long Island. Viggo goes to school with his brothers. In the summer he is doing a little summer school and takes the school bus all by himself in the morning! I am so proud of him and he is proud of himself too. He knows his ABC's in Swedish and in English and is practicing his numbers. He is turning into quite the serious student.
I think that's it for now.
I will just leave you with a couple of nice images of Viggo's work:
